Community Safety

Good connections start with respect and safety. Please follow these guidelines.

Last updated · July 28, 2026

1. Meet in public the first time

  • Meet for the first time during the day, in a busy public place such as a cafe or a restaurant.
  • Never meet for the first time at a home or any other private space.
  • Tell someone you trust where you are going and when, and arrange your own transport so you can leave whenever you want.

2. Share personal details slowly

  • Do not share your home address, workplace, national ID number, bank details or photos of your ID.
  • Take your time with your phone number and social accounts too — share them only once you have decided you trust the person.
  • If someone keeps pressing you for personal information, stop the conversation and report them.

3. Refuse every request for money

  • Never send money, loans, gift cards or crypto, whatever the reason. This is the classic sign of a romance scam.
  • Stop and report any conversation that pitches investments, returns, coins or stocks. That does not happen in a genuine connection.
  • Never follow links that push you to pay or verify yourself on an outside site or app.
  • DULSAI never asks users for money under any circumstances.

4. Be careful about moving to another app

  • Be especially wary if someone wants to move to another messenger or an external site soon after you connect. It is the most common setup for scams and spam.
  • Keeping the conversation inside DULSAI means reporting and blocking still work, and there is a record if something goes wrong.
  • We cannot verify or act on what happens after you move somewhere else.

5. If something feels off, report and block

  • If you see impersonation, harassment, sexual demands, advertising or inappropriate behaviour, use the safety menu in the conversation to report or block.
  • We review reports and take the action they call for. Blocking takes effect immediately and permanently ends contact.
  • You do not need to be sure. If something feels wrong, block first.
  • If you cannot report from inside the app, contact us at jamkankr@gmail.com.

6. No pressure

  • We never require same-day meetings or specific behaviour. Set the pace together.
  • You can end a conversation at any time, and you do not owe anyone an explanation.
  • Examples and virtual people on screen are labeled “official virtual users” and are not real people.
